At Hungamastart, we strive to make your shopping experience seamless and enjoyable. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our Return Center is here to help! We offer a straightforward and hassle-free process to return your items and get a refund or replacement.


1. Return Eligibility

You can return most products purchased from Hungamastart within 7-15 days of delivery. To ensure a successful return, please check that your product meets the following conditions:

  • Unused and Undamaged: The product should be unused, unwashed, and without any damage.
  • Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging with all tags, labels, manuals, and accessories included.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Certain categories like personal care products (e.g., cosmetics,Perfumes,Digital Products,Softwares), and custom-made or personalized items may not be eligible for returns. Check the product page for any specific return restrictions.

If the product does not meet these criteria, it may not be eligible for return.


2. How to Initiate a Return

Follow these simple steps to initiate a return:

Step 1: Log into Your Account

  • Sign in to your Hungamastart account using your registered email address and password.
  • Navigate to the Orders section to view your recent purchases.

Step 2: Select the Item

  • Find the order that contains the item you want to return and click on the Return option next to the item.
  • If you purchased as a guest, visit our Guest Return Center and enter your order ID and email address to start the process.

Step 3: Choose a Reason for Return

  • Select the reason for your return from the dropdown menu (e.g., “Received Wrong Item,” “Damaged Product,” “Not as Described,” etc.).
  • Provide any additional comments or details that may help us process your return faster.

Step 4: Select a Return Method

  • Choose your preferred return method:
    • Free Pickup: Schedule a pickup with one of our courier partners (available in select locations).
    • Drop-Off: If pickup is not available in your area, drop off the item at one of our designated return centers. You will receive the details and address after initiating the return.

Step 5: Pack and Ship the Item

  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging, including any protective materials.
  • Affix the return label (if provided) to the package or ensure the order details are included in the return shipment.

Once the product is collected or dropped off, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details for the return shipment.


3. Refunds & Processing Time

After we receive your returned item, it will go through an inspection process. If the item meets our return eligibility criteria, we will process your refund or exchange. Here’s how the refund works:

3.1 Refund Processing

  • Refund Timeframe: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days after the returned product passes the quality inspection.
  • Refund Method: The refund will be credited to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, etc.). For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the refund will be issued as store credit or directly transferred to your bank account.
  • Refund Confirmation: You will receive a notification once the refund is processed.

3.2 Exchange Processing

  • If you have opted for an exchange instead of a refund, the replacement product will be dispatched within 3-5 business days after we receive the original item.
  • You will receive tracking details for the replacement product once it is shipped.

4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

Certain products are not eligible for return due to their nature or legal restrictions. These include:

  • Personal Care Products: Items like cosmetics, skincare products, or grooming tools & Digital Products once they’ve been opened.
  • Custom Orders: Custom-made or personalized items.
  • Undergarments: Lingerie, swimwear, and other intimate apparel.
  • Gift Cards: Digital or physical gift cards.

5. Return Shipping Costs

At Hungamastart, we aim to make the return process as cost-effective as possible. Here’s how we handle return shipping:

  • Free Returns: We offer free returns for most items. If eligible, you can schedule a free pickup, or drop off your package at a nearby return center.
  • Return Label: If a return shipping label is provided, use it to ship the item back at no additional cost. If no label is provided, you may need to cover the return shipping cost, depending on the reason for return (e.g., if it’s a change of mind).

6. Returning Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product, we want to make it right as quickly as possible. Please follow these steps:

  • Return or Replacement: Once we verify the issue, we will arrange for a free return and send a replacement product at no additional cost, or issue a full refund if a replacement is not available.

7. Return Status & Tracking

You can check the status of your return anytime by:

  • Logging into your Hungamastart account and navigating to the Returns section.
  • Tracking your return using the return shipment tracking number provided after pickup or drop-off.
